Saying Goodbye To LSBS

After a lot of thought, I have decided to stand down from my position on the Design Team at The Little Scrapbook Shop. It's time for me to move on.

I would really like to thank Cath, Nic and the rest of the team for all of their support during my time there. I'm going to miss them. :(

Some Purple Pumpkin Goodness!

I am lucky enough to be Guest Designer over at the Purple Pumpkin blog this month. I just love their cute buttons, doilies and flowers. Here are the layouts I created using their products. This first one is also my entry at Kraft It Up this month. The challenge is a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 challenge.

Lachlan loves to write and draw little stories lately. I managed to snap a few photos of him while he was deep in thought, working on his latest masterpiece. :) I have used a Purple Pumpkin spotty button and a couple of the tickets.

And this cute large little boy button.

How cute are these little mushroom buttons? The colours matched perfectly with my layout.

I have used some Purple Pumpkin twine, a cute little owl button and some of the crocheted doilies.

My First Layout

This is the first layout I created as a new member of the Creative Team at Chelley Bean Designs. We were given some of this gorgeous hand-dyed Satin seam binding to play with. How gorgeous are the colours?
And this is what I did with it:

I pulled out my sewing machine and sewed it on in strips behind my photos. I also made this cute little flower by adding a bit of twine, some hessian and a button.

March Mini Sale

A couple of months ago the lovely Michelle Jamieson from Chelley Bean Designs asked me if I would like to join their Creative Team. I love all things handmade so, of course, I said yes! Tonight at 7.00pm Qld time, the March Mini Sale kicks off on the blog. Something new...

to share finally! I had a few of the local ladies over for a craft/scrapping get together this morning. It was the first time I have been able to sit and scrap for a long time and it was great! I managed 2 layouts for the morning - one I can share now and one you will have to wait a little longer to see. This is my take on the current challenge at White With 1 - white + kraft + layering.
I found this Crate Paper pp while going through my stash - just the right colour. I pulled out my all new second-hand sewing machine too! Love having a decent machine!! I've used a sewing pattern flower from A Lil Somethin too!

I have used up some of the older things in my stash such as this Kraft envelope and string. And once again I have used one of these cute badges from The Greatest View - I am a little obsessed! lol
