I have used fabric, hessian and a journalling card instead of patterned paper. And I've added more twine:
Lots of layering and using up bits and pieces on this one. I may have gone a little crazy with the stapler!

My journalling is hidden inside the envelope. It's a little personal - about my Mum's breast cancer diagnosis in February of this year. :( She amazes me at how positive she is about it all - she says it's 'just a bump in the road' and she is determined to beat it. And I know she will.
I went a little crazy with my border punches and doodling! I even pulled out some of my Kaiser stamps.
I covered the envelope with patterned paper to help it blend in more and have used Jillibean Soup and Echo Park alpha stickers for the title. I've thrown a few October Afternoon stickers and chipboard in there too. So who is an inspirational woman in your life? I'd love to see you play along.I'm really hoping that I will get a chance to scrap this weekend. It feels like forever since I got to play with paper and glue.
