Last week's Style Lounge challenge over on the Aussie Scrap Source blog was the Simple Artsy style of the awesomely talented Louise Nelson. I just love Lou's style so thought I would challenge myself to 'do a Lou'. Here is what I came up with:
I love the way Lou uses white space and mist/paint on her layouts. I 've added a bit of recycled gauze for texture, a bit more mist and some doodling.
And made a border around some rub-ons by scrunching up some bakers twine:
I'm really pleased with how it turned out - lots of Lou and a little bit of me in there too. :)
