Her Lounge Dance

I have just spent the past weekend at the Savvy Delights Retreat in Tahmoor, NSW with the most amazing group of warm, friendly and uber-talented scrappers. I was very productive with a total of 20 layouts completed over the weekend! 

This will be the first of many shares - a layout for the current challenge at Scrap The Girls. The challenge this month is to use action shots on a layout. I didn't have any current action shots of Michala, so last week I asked her to dance for me so I could get some photos. And being a typical 6 year old, she didn't want to co-operate. So she sat on the lounge and danced instead. *sigh*


I have used the She's Savvy kit from Scrapbook Savvy on this layout. It was available at the retreat. And I have also added this Charms Creations heart.

I loved all the bright colours in this kit and have a few other layouts that I made with the kit to share with you later. Thanks so much for stopping by...

    Lol. Love the photos and the story. Your page is fabulous!! Love the colours. Wish I'd been that productive on retreat earlier this year ;). Look forward to seeing what else you created.

    Oh dear, that is how it goes for me too at times.. no co-operation... but never the less you have created a marvellous layout and one day you will all the have good laugh about it.. hopefully!!

    Great layout Lauren and I love the photos even though they weren't what you had in mind - they are so precious. Sounds like you had a wonderful time at the retreat with the other ladies.     Love your style Lauren and the colours that you have used. What wrong with a little lounge dancing lol. Kids are funny and have a agenda all of their own. Love coming to have a look at what you have been up to. Thanks for coming to play at STG this month
