And I am going to give it a go. I'll record it on the Project 365 app on my iPad but will share some of the photos on here and on Facebook. We'll see how I go.
I'll be back later with a couple of exciting things to share....

I have used the blacks and greys from this range and added some Mister Hueys, paint and ink on the background. And some washi tape, of course! Here's a close up:
Have a good weekend! Thanks for stopping by...

I have used some American Crafts paper for the background and added a little corrugated cardboard that I had run through my Big Shot. There is a little bit of inspiration from Tara Scobie on this layout.
This is my layout for the January challenge at Scrap The Girls. This months challenge is Monochromatic. I went with red. I had a bit of trouble getting this layout to work for some reason. I couldn't get my photo to look right with my papers (that I'd already stuck down!) So I flipped the layout on its side and it seemed to be ok. :)
This is my layout for the January 1st sketch at Stuck?! This is the sketch:
As you can see, I have changed it a little by swapping paper for where the photos should be and a photo for the paper. I have used some October Afternoon 'Farmhouse' on this layout. And I've used my sewing machine again!!
I'm not sure that I am all that happy with it, but for a first attempt, I think it's ok. The colours don't really go all that well together. I don't have many supplies such as stamps, inks etc but I think I might need to change that! lol And here are some close ups:I had some wooden letters from Pink Paislee - you can find them in the LSBS shop here. I then covered them with strips of tape - a bit like wallpapering, I guess!
It doesn't matter if you can't trim right up close to the edge - just fold it over!
And voila! You have a new look for your letter:
I roughly cut strips of paper and then layered them on the cardstock. I then pulled out my sewing machine and added some stitching. The kite is from A Lil Somethin.
While cleaning up my scrap space the other day, I realised that I need to start using up some of the older stuff in my stash. I have used some Doodlebug alpha stickers and some BG chippy alphas for my title.
