So....I scrapped. And I'm not sure if I like it. :( It really doesn't pay to have a break from scrapping. I think I've lost my mojo. Anyway, seeing as though I haven't updated my blog for a while, I thought I would share it anyway. So here it is:
I've used October Afternoon 'Farmhouse' again. It seemed to suit my photos. I took this one of Luke and Darcie the other morning while we were waiting for the school bus to come and pick up the other 2 kids for their first day of school. And I've done a little machine stitching again as well.
It certainly isn't your normal style but I still like it a lot!
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great. Yes it is hard to get back into it after a break isn't it? But you have now so onward and upward....lol.
ReplyDeleteThere is so much to see and love how you have used bits and pieces of the paper. The stitching and twine and buttons just add that finishing touch.
I really love it .... great use of the papers .... we all have a different point of view .. I do love it .. hugz x
ReplyDeleteGolly girl, your giving that sewing machine a workout! I love that photo of Luke and Darcie. I know what you mean about the mojo going on a holiday. Maybe we need a scrap day to see if we can find them???? Lol
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog...and WOW..I'm amazed at your talent. Fabulous designs. I just clicked the "follow" button! I'm so inspired after popping in for a visit! So..Hi..I'm Lynn!

ReplyDeleteI can relate though, the only thing I have scrapped since November is an Amy Tan notebook. I am almost scared to try a layout, the thought seems daunting.
Love the way you have placed all of the bit and pieces of pp!
whats not to love Lauren, I love the ran strips you have used!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the colours and stitching Lauren!
